From Support to Strength: Helping Youth and Immigrants Thrive
We support unsheltered immigrants and community youth by providing safe spaces, training, and essential services that empower them to navigate challenges and rebuild their lives.
Sheltering
We provide safe, supportive shelter for unsheltered immigrants by offering essential accommodations, including standard beds and air mattresses, based on available resources. Each individual is provided with basic sanitary supplies to maintain health and dignity, as well as personal storage space to keep their belongings secure. Our shared living environment also includes access to a kitchen, where residents take turns preparing meals, fostering a sense of responsibility, community, and mutual support.
Workforce Training & Empowerment
We equip individuals with the skills and support they need to successfully enter the workforce and build independence. Through guidance from dedicated instructors, participants learn basic English for everyday communication and workplace readiness. We also provide hands-on training in essential job skills, including creating resumes and preparing for interviews. In addition, we connect individuals to vital community resources such as DSHS for transportation support, food assistance, and financial aid. By combining practical training with personalized guidance, we help prepare participants for entry-level opportunities and long-term success.
Youth Development & Creative Expression
We support community youth by nurturing their creativity and helping them discover their unique talents. Through guided programs, they explore the arts, including singing, learning musical instruments, and film. These activities build confidence, discipline, and self-expression. At the end of each season, participants showcase their growth in a talent show, where they perform and present their work in front of fellow youth and their families, celebrating their progress and achievements.
